The Word
Mastery is the pursuit of excellence through repetition, discipline, and focus. True mastery means a skill becomes second nature, automatic, reliable.
On the Field
Mastery is built in the “’Ery Days.” We throw every day. We field every day. Every day, we refine our footwork, our glove work, our body position, our timing. We don’t train until we get the skill right – we train until we can’t get it wrong! That’s the difference between good and great. That’s the heart of a Crusader!
In Our Lives
Proverbs 22:29 reminds us that skill and excellence open doors. But mastery in life isn’t just about our physical talent – it’s also about our character. We grow spiritually by practicing faith, kindness, patience, and service – every day. We read Scripture, we pray, we worship, we forgive, we lead – every day. We do these spiritual ‘Ery Days until it becomes who we are.
The Closer
Mastery is the result of intentional repetition. On the field, it means training until our skills are not just correct – they’re consistent. Off the field, it means living our faith until it becomes our nature. Let’s pray for the discipline to pursue mastery – in our game, in our life, and in our walk with Christ.
Armor Up, Crusaders!
